This vibrant seafood dish features juicy prawns cooked in a sizzling garlic and chili butter, balanced with a splash of lime for brightness. Each bite is rich, spicy, and fragrant, with just the right amount of heat to awaken your palate.

Ingredients

1 lb large prawns, peeled and deveined (tails on optional)

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

4 cloves garlic, finely minced

1 small red chili or 1 tsp chili flakes (adjust to heat level)

Juice of 1 lime

Zest of ½ lime

Salt and cracked pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon honey or brown sugar

Fresh cilantro, chopped

Directions

Start by patting the prawns dry with paper towel and season lightly with salt and pepper.

In a large skillet, heat butter and olive oil over medium-high heat until bubbling. Add the garlic and chili, sautéing until fragrant—about 30 seconds (don’t let the garlic burn).

Add the prawns in a single layer and cook for 1–2 minutes per side, until they turn pink and are just cooked through. Stir in the soy sauce, honey, and lime juice. Let the sauce bubble and coat the prawns, about 1 more minute.

Finish with lime zest and chopped cilantro. Toss everything together in the pan to coat the prawns in the spicy, buttery sauce.

Plate the prawns with a drizzle of the pan sauce, top with Nutri Green microgreens, and serve with lime wedges and your choice of rice, crusty bread, or noodles.
